Our Mission

our mission is to push the boundaries of innovation and performance in motorsport engineering by designing and building a high-performance electric race car for the Formula SAE 2025-2026 competition. With a deep commitment to safety, reliability, and manufacturability, our team is focused on creating a vehicle that not only excels on the track but also showcases sustainable engineering practices and cutting-edge technologies.
We believe in the power of STEM education and strive to inspire the next generation of engineers by engaging in outreach initiatives that support diversity and inclusion within the engineering and technology fields.

Project Objectives

Our approach to designing the electric race car includes several key objectives that reflect our commitment to performance, sustainability, and educational outreach:
  • Lightweight Spaceframe Chassis: Our team will design and build a lightweight spaceframe chassis that ensures maximum structural integrity while minimizing weight for improved handling and performance.
  • Aerodynamically Efficient Bodywork: We are focused on designing aerodynamically optimized bodywork to enhance vehicle stability at high speeds and ensure peak performance in diverse race conditions.
  • High-Efficiency Powertrain: Our powertrain engineering aims to create an efficient and powerful electric motor system, maximizing acceleration and energy use for unmatched track performance.
  • Smart, Reliable Battery System: We are developing an innovative battery management system that prioritizes safety and performance while optimizing energy efficiency, ensuring a competitive edge in the race.
  • STEM Outreach: Through partnerships with Vaughn College’s Computer Engineering Summer Academy, SEE STEM, CSTEP, and Upward Bound, we are committed to mentoring and inspiring students, particularly from underrepresented and underserved communities. By providing hands-on experience and resources, we aim to foster a deeper interest in engineering and technology careers.

Our Vision

We are not just building a race car—we are building the future of engineering. Through our project, we aim to break down barriers to education, foster innovation, and pave the way for a more sustainable and inclusive future in engineering.
